Thanks Carol, By the way Laura described them, I thought it was like baseboard heating. Long heating elements that go along the walls only that they were for suction instead of heat. When you turned them on they would suck-up instead of blow out. Now that would be pretty good. Maybe someone could invent those that would just attach without having them built-in. I have known about the built-in vacuum cleaners but to me they were just hoses you attached to the wall so you wouldn't have to drag around a tank sweeper. Just another way to sweep, but you still had to sweep. Thanks again for clarifying. Pam
