Well, yes.... that's the worst part. The first time I was aware of it happening, I just **assumed** it was the hotel staff or on-lookers. I was quite surprised when several people spoke up to disagree and voiced the opinion that it was most likely 'dog-people'. I really worry about dogs I see that are left in crates and pens in hallways, grooming areas, and other non-secure spots. If a purse can disappear right in front of a large group of people, think how fast a little unwatched dog can be picked up.
