I must be out of touch, what is a Swiss collar? Does it not crush the
hair around the neck or something like that? If it is really good, where
can you order them from?
Also, there is a good alternative to the Mason Pearson brush that you
can find at dog shows, it is about $17 or so, it has "Flanders"
or "flinders" or something like that stamped on it. It looks just like the
Mason Pearson brush. I keep my Mason Pearson brush at home, and take this
one to shows, less stressful if it is lost vs. my Mason Pearson...
I have also used the kangaroo leads, some of them are softer than
others. I got a really nice one (my lucky lead!) at S & S Supplies, they
go to shows in the Southeast. I'm going to look for a black one (for tris)
next weekend at the Atlanta show. I already have the nice tan one for
Natalie. I think it was around $50 for the slip collar/lead set, I really
like it (and finished my bitch at 11 months old with it in the AKC)
Off this subject, but who all is going to the Portland/Beaverton show?
I'm carrying Natalie, trying to get her shown as much as possible in the
next several months....
Cindy Jones, Cynja Cavaliers, Birmingham,Alabama (new to this list,
but not new to Cavaliers...)
