We breed the same percentage of high quality Cavaliers in the States as they do in the UK. However, we breed only 3000 a year vs. their 15,000 or more. That leaves them with a LOT more high quality Cavaliers to choose from. Until we are breeding 15,000 or more puppies a year, the UK is still going to play an important part in our breeding programs.
I don't care about the cost of registration. Dual registering a litter of 4 puppies costs less than OFAing one dog's hips--even though I pay for the CKCSC transfers too.
