        Those "concessions" may not be acceptable to AKC members; after all why
should they agree to a standard for their dogs which isn't imposed on
CKCSC, USA dogs or dog from ANY OTHER PROVENANCE including overseas
puppymills?  Perhaps if the standard was imposed on *all* dogs whose
provenance was not of CKCSC, USA origin, it would be fair.  However, I
don't see that happening, do you?

I understand your moderate stance, but I doubt that it will feel good to
  AKC breeders.
