Rod Russell says: ".....they have no legitimate business wistfully gazing
over the fence at the forbidden fruit....."

Oh goodness, I have missed the way you have with words, because I am
certainly guilty of gazing over the fence at Patty's lovely little 8 year
old fully tested heart clear boy. I spend a lot of time at that fence.
However, Rod....some of us really do test our breeding stock and do the best
we can to find dogs with longetivity in their pedigrees. Believe or not,
some of us have test results for heart, eyes, patellae and hips on every dog
we breed. We are being kept from pursuing what we honestly believe to be
the best possible outcome for our puppies by this ruling. Certainly I see
your reasoning if none of us were testing, and if none of the AKC breeders
out in the pasture were testing either, but our wistful gazing is restricted
to older boys with hard copies of their test results sitting on my desk.
(We own his son) Why must those of us who do test be punished for the ones
that you know about who don't? Myra
