This thread has as much potential to damage the Club as the rest of the issues we're debating. Pet owners and breeders are as interdependent as two groups of people can be. At this time, especially, we need to work together. We all want what's best for our dogs. There are several different ideas of the best way to go about it. Both sides are going to have to compromise. The immediate need is to allow CKCSC members to breed to AKC only dogs. It's up to the breeder to make educated choices of breeding stock and it's up to the pet buyer to do their homework and buy from a breeder that meets their standards.
