Do you see the title on the top of this message? Well I am ashamed that it even exists. Since when did we set up an advesarial relationship between Pet Owners and Breeders? I see it as an interdependant one, each of us playing our part and reaping the benefits of the other. I myself belong to both clubs as a regular member and am sick to death of the "just a Pet Owner" attitude than permeates them both.
Do we treat our Cavaliers any differently because of their registry? I hope not and if we do, I am ashamed. Do we love them less, or give them less care? Do we laugh less at their antics or cry less tears at their crossing? I think it is time that we take whatever benefit that we want(each in our own way)from both clubs and do whatever is necessary to keep our fur familes safe. I ask each of you to look into your hearts and do what is best for them. Put aside the labels and trust your instincts.
