I have a very fat little 12 day old(single) puppy and I'm concerned that he may become a swimmer if he gets too heavy. He is 1lb 12 oz.. That is more than triple his birth weight. His mom isn't constantly with him but obviously they are having some quality time. Because he is a single puppy, I feel he needs her company but I am certainly concerned about too rapid weight gain. Does anyone have suggestions?
