Robin I think I'd consider how important it is to me to maintain the friendship between me and my neighbor - rather than did my pupper really inflict the 'wounds' - Perhaps a serious concern for poor Max & an offer to 'share' the expense, while keeping the friends separated long enough t determine the situation ... if Max continues to have reoccurring ear infections, I'd bet it is something other than Teddy ... and if the ear infections go away, well.. maybe the two will play a bit nicer once Teddy has grown up a little more. It May be just sharp baby teeth, if it is Teddy. However, if there are NO yelps / cries from the dogs during their play, I'd think everything could be set straight with a quick check of their ears now & then (maybe weekly) including a good cleaning with witch hazel or vinegar (wiped out with a wet wad of cotton or soft cloth, soaked in the witch hazel or vinegar) Has anyone (you or the vet) suggested this idea? I believe the pups would vote for this choice <grin>
Just my thoughts as I read your post. Joan Robinson New Castle VA Robin McLeod wrote: > My neighbor owns a pet beagle bitch (2 years old) > named Max.
