I like Joan's answer and I'd also talk to her vet. If the vet says with certainty that Max has Cavalier-sized puncture wounds, I'd be inclined to accept that. However, I am a teensy bit dubious because wouldn't the vet ask about the dog who "bit" Max? Wouldn't the vet want to at least talk to you and find out what immunizations Teddy had had? Call my cynical, but I'd want to get the story direct from the horse's whatever.
