I understand what Cynthia is saying here. No one expects having and
accident. I surely wasn't expecting one on June the 8th. I was going to my
friend Pam Brown's house on that beautiful Saturday afternoon. She had been
keeping my 2 Cavaliers for me because I had outpatient surgery on June 5th.
I was feeling better and wanted my kids back home. I was traveling west on
Route 40 and a lady was traveling south on a cross road. She either didn't
stop at the stop sign or, if she did, did not look left or right before
gunning her car into the intersection. She T-boned me on the passenger side
just in front of the rear wheel. Witnesses and the police say I rolled over
4 times. I kept thinking what would have happened if the dogs had been with
me. You see, I was guilty of allowing my dogs to ride "crate free" with me
in the front seat. Had they been there with me that day, they would have
been killed.
So, no matter the breed......alway crate when traveling.
Take care
