Almost.  It should read as follows.

memcached_servers=sprout1.lannion.local:11211,sprout2.lannion.local:11211,sprout3.lannion.local:11211

Specifically, the server names are comma-separated and you need the three 
per-node domains, not the cluster domain and two of the per-node domains as you 
had before.  Does that make sense?

As I said before, this will change shortly, but is correct for the version 
you're running.
