Nour,

I'm glad that you've got load-balancing working.

Each bono always has 50 SIP/TCP connections to the sprout cluster. These are
probabilistically distributed across the cluster, so if we have 2 sprouts, we
have ~25 to each and if we have 3 sprouts, we have ~17 to each. 50 was chosen
to given reasonably uniform load across the sprout cluster while not being too
large. It can be tuned by changing /etc/clearwater/user_settings, although we
haven't seen a situation where this is required. We cycle each connection
every 10 minutes, and may pick a different node in the sprout cluster for the
reconnect.

I hope that helps your understanding.

Cheers,

Matt

Subject: Re: [Clearwater] Load Balancing

Hi Matt,

The LB is working perfectly, without your help I will not arrive to this step,
but I didn't understand why this big number of rows, I though that I will have
just 2 rows one for the concern the first sprout and the other one concerns the
sprout2.

Thanks a lot
