Nour,

How many nodes do you have? I'd originally expected you to have 2
(sprout1.lannion.local and sprout2.lannion.loca), but a couple of emails ago
you said you had 3 (sprout1.lannion.local, sprout2.lannion.local and
sprout3.lannion.local).  Please confirm.

If you have 2 nodes, they should both have /etc/clearwater/cluster_settings set
as follows.

memcached_servers=sprout1.lannion.local:11211,sprout2.lannion.local:11211

If you have 3 nodes, they should all have /etc/clearwater/cluster_settings set
as follows.

memcached_servers=sprout1.lannion.local:11211,sprout2.lannion.local:11211,sprout3.lannion.local:11211

The cluster domain (sprout.lannion.local) should not be included in
/etc/clearwater/cluster_settings.

Matt

Subject: Re: [Clearwater] Load Balancing

Hi Matt,

In my configuration as you told me before
"

* creating a sprout-1 hostname which maps just to the first sprout's IP
address

* creating a sprout-2 hostname which maps just to the second sprout's
IP address

* creating a sprout hostname which maps to both sprout IP addresses
(using the notation I gave previously)

"

My question is, I will do the configuration to sprout1.lannion.local and
sprout2.lannion.local as the following:

memcached_servers=sprout2.lannion.local:11211,sprout1.lannion.local:11211

or I do this configuration to the all the sprout, including
sprout.lannion.local, which will point to other nodes?

Thanks for your fast replies.
