There is a hidden data between MBR and 1st partition for this type of 
think* machine. Therefore in the testing Clonezilla live has be improved 
to dump and restore the hidden data so that the boot of vista and F11 
(recovery mode) can be used. Maybe you can give it a try.

"Error: /dev/sda: unrecognised disk label" ? Why ? No idea... There does 
exist sda in /proc/partitions...
