Thanks for your input.

I did remove the Dell partition while in Windows then confirmed in fdisk that 
it isn't there. However, I think the root cause is something
with the 1.2.4-28 version (maybe partclone) since when I restored it, I would 
receive a CRC stdin error. I restored the previous image copy
I had, saved the image with 1.2.3-37 then it was fine. I still have not tried 
to expand the newly revised image.

Through one of the FAQ documents, I remember how to resize the partition while 
booting/running Clonezilla, but I really want to use the
resize proportionally. 

A side, but maybe related, question on resizing: Do I need to have the use 
"'r'" for resize option enabled when using "-k1"?
