I tried loading the image from the network, from a Samba share, multiple times and two identical systems and received the same error message. When I cloned the system with 1.2.3-37 and the loaded the image, there were no errors. I could suspect a network hiccup (1Gb with 1.4-2.0Gb per min transfer average), corrupting the image, but I cannot prove that yet. The 3rd partition, NTFS, seemed to transfer fine.
