I think we should look into hooking up with some immigration society (I can probably provide some contacts), and provide our computers to people who are new to Canada and don't have the funds to buy a new machine. Sure it will run on any WM, the question is will it run with minimalist hardware. OOo is a big beast, and I would recommend using other software to supplement OOo on old hardware. Programs like Abiword and Gnumeric work great and don't have the overhead that OOo has. Jesse
