Maybe because he's trying to install SuSE? And YAST2 is the installer? As for the boot floppy thing, you can get cdrom versions of most boot discs, or make your own if you have a burner..bootable cdroms use the same images as bootable floppies, though usually a 2.8Meg version of the images.
