We all start in the position you're in now.

6 months from now, you'll be helping other people out too.

In the mean time, just post a public "This is Cool" when you find something
neat. Linux is a big topic. We all have areas we know and areas we don't
know. I like seeing messages about nifty stuff, even when I can't
immediately use it. Sometimes it's valuable later. For Example:

Scott Zuk posted something about rsync backups a few months back, and I'll
be checking into it in the next few weeks.
Marcel posted an AccPac on Suse link in the Spring. I might need to check
that out in the next few months.
Aaron is in my list with some Konqi Stuff, and PGP as well.
Lots of people posted LTSP stuff, and most of it I've kept as well, though I
have no immediate need.

There's some simple stuff that I should be up to speed on, but I'm not. If
you bring it up, we'll both learn. SSH would be a great example. I don't
need to know anything about it right now, but really, I should know
something about it. For now, I need it for the IPcop boxes I use as
firewalls in some places. I check the checkbox, and it works. That's all I
need to know. But I'd be curious to read about it when someone else brings
it up. For now, I don't need it, so I don't really care, even if I should.

Kev.
