<getting off topic a bit>
I just got an ibook, and by default, and for the root account, login is
disabled, and the first user created is setup to be an admin, which means
they have full sudo access (All). When an gui app requires root, a dialog
box appears asking for your password. So anybody using osx, would have to
explicitly enable logins on the root account, when the need really isnt
there. I dont know how long this has been the case, but I havent found
any need to enable the root account.
