well, /. is, uh, /. ;-) but more seriously, that article looks like the guy
was looking for ways to convince some rather less-than-clueful people rather
than making a statement about most/all mac osx users..
the osx users i've observed (which, granted hasn't been hundreds or even
dozens..) just go in as their user... too many hoops for most people to jump
through, ala:

as i said in an earlier mail, it's the mid-level users that scare me: they
know enough to change defaults (even when it means going through hoops) but
often lack the sense not to...
this segment messes things up no matter what OS they use =/ fortunately they
are the vast minority, probably only slightly more populous than clueful
power users overall...
