Actually...I think Nathan makes a couples of great points. I know that programming questions don't really interest me...nor do some other topics that pop up. As well, I have noticed that the list seems to be getting a bit clogged up with a lot of questions that seem to drift a bit and end up crossing over different areas. I average about 30 e-mails a day or more and most of them I find I delete.
I think it would be helpful if we set a few lists and then have people subscribe as per interest. I would suggest the following, but I am sure there are others: * CLUG-Talk: General Q&A's * Programming: Programming/Development related items * Events: Meeting Planning, *fest's, Conference (Convergence, etc.) planning. * Off-Topic: Non-Linux, MS, Mac, and other related items. * Hardware: Hardware related issues. * Classified: Items for sale or jobs. * Discussion: Specific topics (security, communication, DNS, etc.) The reason I would suggest these, is that we may be small now, but as we grow it is easier to be proactive and do the leg work now instead of trying to change it when we get to big. Sort of like trying to move an elephant by blowing through a straw. :-) My $.02 Worth! Cameron
