-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hey All,
I cast my vote with Jesse, Dave, Mike and Mahlah for the same reasons they have listed. Again, well said Jesse and Mahlah. Jeff has been more than gracious and is a huge asset to CLUG. I will give you all an excerpt off the mailing list webpage as a suggestion to handle this. Make your subject line reflect what you are concerned about. AFAIK you can put a long string into your subject line so why not. The format would be something like: (for-sale) Some computer stuff (programming) some C questions (events) InstallFest We have the guidelines there people, however, we seem to have a hard time getting people to use them. I am as bad an offender as anyone else. How about we try to do this and suggest the guidelines to new people coming on the list? Sound like a plan? - -- Jarrod GPG Fingerprint: FA4A 1EA3 A0EE A842 07BB 804C 0090 14F6 BE6E DE3D CLUG Treasurer Registered Linux User: #224211 On Tue January 21 2003 8:10 am, you wrote: > I have the same vote, although I don't always understand the technical or > programming questions that are sometimes posted, at that time, I find as > I'm learning I can look back, and go over the messages to find information > that I need.
