No, you'll have to change the driver manually by editing either the
/etc/X11/XF86Config file or /etc/X11/XF86Config-4. Use the command:
# emacs /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
The scroll down to the "Device" section and look for the value after
Driver. "nv" is the default XFree86 Nvidia driver, and "nvidia" is the
commercial driver. You may want to change the value to "nv" so that you
can get back into X until you can get the Nvidia rpms. It will be safe
to uninstall the SuSE rpms, then install the Nvidia ones and follow the
instructions in the README.
