Yep, I did try the delete command. But, being a newbie at nsupdate, I probably didn't get it right. I'm digging into it some more now, and will be testing scripts against my router/dns.
Curtis (and anyone else following this thread), I found this link (via google search for "nsupdate script": http://dag.wieers.com/howto/bits/bind-ddns.php It appears to do what you're trying to do - trigger a script when the IP changes. It goes even further and discusses how to configure things for DDNS. I think the problem here is that Superreal doesn't appear to be using BIND. But the client side stuff (without the keys) might work... more playing for me....
