I made the change to the named.conf file (to allow transfers). Now, when I
restart the named service I'm getting this error:
Stopping named: rndc: connect failed: connection refused
If I had to guess, I'd say that Superreal is not going to allow a zone
transfer from me. Would this be a correct interpretation?

it resolves to 192.168.0.15 ... probalby not what you want. your
named.conf
doesn't have any allowance for a slave, though...
zone "open2space.com" IN {
type master;
file "open2space.com";
allow-transfer
{
srns1.superreal.net;
srns2.superreal.net;
};
};
again, assuming this is working via the trad master/slave dns stuff
