I just had a thought... if we can't get a useful majority consensus on which
full version game to play, maybe we could bring a bunch of multiplayer demos
on CD (UT2003, RTCW, BF1942, MOHAA, SOF2, QIII, etc.) and that way everybody
can play legitimate copies of the same game.  It would be a limiting number
of maps per game, but there would be lots more games.  And it might be fun
to try to get them all running under Linux.

What does everyone think?

Heh, I just installed UT2003 last night, after finally getting some
stability 
out of my Geforce4 card.

It runs like a dream and I'm really looking forward to some of the mods
coming 
out for it in the next while ;-)
