I just had a thought... if we can't get a useful majority consensus on which full version game to play, maybe we could bring a bunch of multiplayer demos on CD (UT2003, RTCW, BF1942, MOHAA, SOF2, QIII, etc.) and that way everybody can play legitimate copies of the same game. It would be a limiting number of maps per game, but there would be lots more games. And it might be fun to try to get them all running under Linux.
