As to the Linux Client, there is an install script for Linux on Disc 3, it's not documented very well but it's there. It has issues (at least for me) but it works. I haven't been able to get it working but I don't believe it's because of the installer. I seem to be having a problem getting my GeForce 2 MX400 to use the correct drivers.
