I get a little further with Quake II, so I am pretty confident it does not 
like my video settings somewhere. I tried the RPM's from nVidia and I got the 
Updated drivers from SuSE. Yes, GLX, is entered in my XFREE86 file as is 
"nvidia" rather than "nv" for the driver.

I was under the impression that I had updated my kernel through either the RPM 
or the SuSE update. These are all things I was hoping to go over during the 
GameFest but if I can get them fixed before that would be cool too. I have 
the game and can't play it yet. Urgh!
