You don't need Acrobat to save it as a pdf. Just go to Print and under the printer selection drop down list select pdf. It will save it in your home directory. You don't even need Acrobat to view the pdf as most distros come with tools to do that too, such as GhostView, KGhostView, and Xpdf.
