Here's your chance to be ahead of the curve.

I'm sponsoring some development of IPcop, specifically, I'm pay one of their developers to add functionality that will allow VPN authentication via x509 certificates.  This will greatly simplify the administration of road warrior configurations.

I'm attaching the code below in a tar.gz file.  This includes the scripts and a setup.  Copy vpn.01.tar.gz to /tmp on your IPcop box.  Run tar -xfz vpn-0.1.tar.gz, and then run ./setup.

This does NOT include all the features yet, so don't be concerned that some things that should be links are just static pictures (deleting certs, or modifying entries).

We would like this to be included in the next mainline release of IPcop, so any testing and feedback would be very welcome.  Feel free to pass it around, but keep in mind that it ISN'T production yet.

Also, my appologies to those on dialup connections.  :)  And my condolances.

Thanks.
Kev.
