You probably won't find RPMS for the latest version of KDE for your version of RedHat. I would suggest building Garnome to get the latest KDE and Gnome, or using a similar KDE build script. You can run Garnome along side older versions of Gnome and KDE, they only problem that you may run into is that your settings might get mixed up, but you could always run your new DEs under a different user. > 3. Building from source will take more than a lunch hour just in machine time, it will also take time to do some Googling to find various deps. when the build fails.
