Agreed, on that note, windows can't be helped. It just sucks :) Its been 
reduced to a game platform in my usage, and winex is getting better...

my number one problem with windows [xp in particular] is you are totally 
dependant on the gui...if the gui wont start you pretty much have to 
reinstall because fixing it from a boot disk aint gonna happen.

Now MS has made 'backwards compatibility' the newest swear word...while the OS 
community continues to make it work better. Should my old DOS games not work 
b/c ms says so? Screw them...
