Personally I've never had any complaints with Acer notebooks.
I currently have a Travelmate 611TXCi, PIII 850, that has served me well and will be going on the blocks very soon.
I just sold an Aspire AS2002LCi that totally rocks and might be my next machine in a couple of days.
I'm also currently looking at Acer's Ferrari 3000LMI which looks like the ideal system for me. ALL the options I'll ever need including a DVD-RW, smart card's etc.
If you find something you like and are interested give me a shout and I'll see what I can do.
So...... now to make MY decision.....
