You know, I've had the same thing happen to me, though it was only a few times and was completely unreproducible for me. I've had the context menus in konq and kicker as well as the k menu 'freeze' and needed to hit ESC to get things back to normal. I'm not using autohide or any transparency effects, just the fake shadow and I'm still using KDE 3.1.5 (QT 3.2.3) . I swear I saw someone post a similar problem on a forum somewhere and that it might be a QT issue but I can't remember where I read that.
