John Firebaugh and I do most of the work on Kicker these days... i did some work to improve the situation for 3.2, and now it happens on far fewer set ups than before... suffice it to say that the code is pretty racy, due to its pseudothreaded nature... i've got kicker pulled half-apart on my machine here at the moment working towards simplifying the codebase considerably; at that point i hope to kill the remaining race conditions, which are what lead to the "bouncing panel" effect that some occasionally see... - -- Aaron J.
