completely OT, but think this type of news is a symptom of the news/media industry rather than a real reflection of real problems. the business side of media sells to our insecurities, and likes to follow news trends, imo. I'm not saying that there are no sickos on the internet, just that it isn't news when some kid thinks "whatever, I'm not gonna go meet this loser". it also might not be news worthy when it's two adults involved. ok, I'm done ranting about news.
