In fact, (believe it or not) Alberta Learning actually has some very comprehensive technology guidelines/curriculum/rules, not the least of which is FOIPP (Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy). While it can be easy to bash the school system, Alberta Learning actually does a lot of things right regarding technology.
