For the time being, I am using Mindterm (a Java SSH client) which hasn't been mentioned in any "edicts" from the tech and/or school administration. Obviously, I would prefer PuTTY, as it is much more full featured, and can run off my network folder (mindterm copies documents to the local user folder). PuTTY has been sent to Mr. Scott (asst. principal) for approval. I'm almost sure that he will have no clue how to use it; in addition to this, I don't think anyone (apart from myself) realizes that I will have to be present for the test (or else they will need another server). If you want to e-mail administration (and possibly avoid the entire matter of testing) contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Another matter: would it be morally/ethically correct if I gave user accounts to other students (whom I know on a personal basis) if I knew that they would use it for non-school purposes. I am aware of the security concerns.
