Aaron, thanks for that info. Do you have links to (or names for) the circles (freshmeat, or others?). Since I do policy work and research, I keep sources like that around should I decide to do (or get asked to do) a paper on it. If anyone has studies from industry or economic journals on this, that would be even better. Don't bother straining yourselves to dig them out, but if you happen to come across them, please feel free to forward them to me.
