In my experience, sometimes relaying is permitted, sometimes it's not. On my network, the clients are configured to send mail through mail.telusplanet.net. If Telus' server goes down, I can send through our hosted mail server outside of the Telus network, but eventually Telus will complain about relaying not permitted, in which case I have to go back to using mail.telusplanet.net. -- Peter Pankonin, digitalcrucible There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those who understand binary, and those who don't. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca
