relaying, by definition, is sending to a domain other than the domain of the SMTP server. you are sending to shaw.ca so it isn't, technically "relaying"; idcmail.shaw.ca iis the MX for shaw.ca ... which apparently was down as far as mail goes (e.g. i couldn't telnet to port 25 on it) though it seems to be up now




I wonder if there's any statistics on what shaws new modems can do?
