Thread hijacking results in the inappropriate reuse of the In-Reply-To
identification header, which many modern (ex. not your text-based
program from 1992) mail clients rely on, at least in part, to sort and
present messages in a meaningful manner. Those of us residing here in
the year 2004 have come to rely on it to simplify our lives. This use
of the header goes against its intended use, which is the sort of
thing we've all come to expect from Microsoft. Thus, your statement is
as stupid as it is invalid.

I tend to agree with Andy. Anyone responsible for thread hijacking has
likely done so out of sheer laziness. I say we cut off their fingers.
