Hmmmm...maybe, but I don't think KWeather uses Yahoo! Weather at all. Also, that doesn't seem to account for the fact that by adding my station manually to the .kde/share/config/KWeatherServicerc and weather_panelappletrc files, then it works fine. In researching this bug I found out that KWeather uses the METAR system and gets its report from nws.noaa.gov. When I type in CYYC at http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/metar.shtml I get this report: CYYC 052200Z 27019KT 40SM FEW080 FEW200 BKN260 03/M10 A3001 RMK AC1CI1CI0 SLP200 which, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/METAR seems correct for Calgary right now. -- Peter Pankonin, digitalcrucible There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those who understand binary, and those who don't. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
