I thought I would finally pipe in. I run Exchange 2003 at work and was there for the Exchange 2007 launch. I will have to agree with Gustin - acknowledging in my somewhat limited experience with Exchange - that yes Exchange sucks less each version.
I did come across an interesting project that I would like to take a little more or a peek at . It is OpenExchange. Linux Format had a couple tutorial issues (i Think ) about installing it and running it. Apparently it can be a big PITA to setup, but once installed it is supposed to "just work" and does its job very well.
