Scalix provides full Exchange functionality on Linux. I'll be demoing it for the March CLUG meeting.
It works well in a mixed environment, with MAPI clients for Outlook and Evolution, plus a fantastic webclient for others. Obviously you can also use IMAP or POP as well. Scalix 11.0.0 has some serious bugs in it, it was a pretty major change. 11.0.1 was released last night, and does address the majority of them. You can contact me offline if you need a demo, or more info. I was looking at an article on Citadel (www.citadel.org) in a couple of different linux magazines (nice articles Jon) and was wondering if anyone has had experience with using Citadel. Any feedback good or bad would be appreciated. I have someone interested in an alternative to Exchange to be used in a business setup. Ideally they would like group calendaring/scheduling capabilities. Are there any other alternatives available that could be used in a mixed OS environment?
