I am trying to get various mail/calendaring tools (Thunderbird, Outcast
(Outlook), Evolution) to sync up with gmail & gcal. I would like to try and
find something that allows offline use & syncs all of teh different PIM
components instead of spate tools for each item...but if I have to use a
series of tbird extensions... so be it.

I have found a 2-way sync tool for tbird & gcal and it works ok...as well as
GCalDameon...hvent tried it but it look neat.. and I am thinking i should be
able to run off of my domain controller (windows right now with future
syncing to linux based ldap) and pull the information form there.

I wanted to get some opinions and such to see what others thought. I would
prefer something cross-platform and it looks like GCalDaemon does this...but
if i have to use client software again... no big deal.

As always...open source is preferred but freeware would work too. Preer
something with minimal requirements also and possibly works off of usb key
as well.
