Thank Kin for getting the word out, you can count me in :-)
I would like to add a few items here:
The Linux distros are essentially done, i need tu burn 40 more Ubuntu,
the
Fedora batch is spoken for, and the debian is still in limbo.
What has not been spoken for is the task of making nice labels for the
disks,
I have got the label paper sheets, but don't have the artistic ability to
make the labels.
The Vfxweb offerings are nice, we would have 8 systems to display if
the
project goes ahead, what is needed is 3 things:
-a- Volunteers to man the show computers, not a big deal, but still
someone
needs to keep an eye open, and maybe answer a few questions.
-b- Volunteers to take one or two systems and install the specified
Linux
distro on them, These are simple specks on simple hardware, so no worries.
-c- Need help from someone with a larger car/van/truck to carry the
systems
around ...
Now the systems will be available this weekend for pickup, if we decide
to go
ahead with the project.
Cheers
Szemir
